GOD IS LOVE! 

(1 John 4:16)

God is LOVE…..God is LOVE……God is LOVE

So many of us search high and low, far and wide for love.  Sometimes we think we have found love in someone.  Some of us spend a lifetime wanting love, seeking to find it only to be greatly disappointed.

God is Love, He is Just, Moral and True. God is Righteousness.  Understand this:  God is Love.  God is the creator of all things.

There can be no real love without the ONE WHO IS LOVE.  God loves YOU! He demonstrated His LOVE toward YOU and (the world) that while YOU were yet sinning against God, Christ died for YOU…..Romans 5:8

Often we are deceived because we heard that God is love and that he loves everyone so some believe that God will overlook our sins;  You may even think that God will not judge and punish sin because we say God is Love. 

Please listen and hear:  God is holy. There is NO sin in God.  This is why God cannot allow sin to go unpunished; God would be unjust if He allowed sin to go unpunished.

Herein is God’s Love; that He first loved us.  God loves you so much!  You have no idea how much He loves you and He wants to save you.  He knows everything about you.  Nothing is hid from him and He knows your every sin, your every thought and your every intention.  You (and me) are naked before God.  That means that nothing can be hid from God Almighty.

Yet God’s great LOVE for you is calling you to himself through Jesus Christ, His Son.  God wants so much for you to accept Jesus into your heart and to trust in Him so that he can come in and change your heart to a heart of LOVE.  God wants to pour Himself into you and make you new.  God wants you to experience His Love so that you can pour God’s love into others who are lost and who are searching for the way, the truth and the life. 

God made a way for all of us to be saved from his wrath, judgment and His punishment of eternal damnation because of His great Love for ALL of us. God has paid a heavy price for our sins by giving us His Son to die for us.  Jesus, who knew NO sin, became sin for us….God laid the sin of the world on his only begotten son.  Jesus paid with His life so that we don’t have to pay with our life, if we accept Jesus!

We have all sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. We inherited our sin nature from Adam.  God said there is none that doeth right, no not ONE!  We have all gone our own way and God has laid our iniquity (sin) on Jesus.  Proverbs 14:12
There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death;  Proverbs 16:2
All the ways of a man are clean in his own eyes; but the LORD weigheth the spirits.

Yet, In spite of the fact that we have broken God’s law (The ten commandments), …God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish but have everlasting life….John 3:16

God LOVES YOU!  God left His throne in heaven, came down to earth in the form of flesh and blood (like us) as God the Son (Jesus), suffered, bled and died a cruel death on the cross for us; went into hell for us but unlike us, the death, hell and the grave could not keep Him because his life on this earth pleased the Father.  Luke 3:22 – Thou art my beloved Son; in thee I am well pleased.

Jesus paid a debt, He did not owe (we sinned against God); We owed a debt we could not pay (Jesus paid for our sin), we needed someone to wash our sins away; because Jesus did what we could not, would not and did not do…..Why?  Because God Loves US!

THIS IS AMAZING GRACE! No one can wash all of your sins away but Jesus.  No one can give you new life but Jesus, God’s only Son. No one can LOVE you like the Lord!

Why did God do it…..Because God is LOVE and He LOVES US and He wants to give us an abundant life but most of all, eternal life that He intended for us to have before sin corrupted the world through the disobedience of Adam.

God allowed His son to suffer and die in order to identify with us so that WE could KNOW that God has personally felt our pain, He allowed Jesus to be tempted in every point as we are tempted, yet Jesus never yielded to that temptation.  Jesus became that sacrificial offering for not just your sins but for the sins of the world. God is LOVE. 

God wants to save you from His wrath and judgment that will come on this earth and to all who reject His salvation through Jesus, His Son.

Let me say this.  God LOVES You!  God does not want any of us to be condemned to hell but God wants all to have eternal life starting right now in this life.  God has made a way for ALL of your sins to be forgiven and cast into the sea of forgetfulness; God has made a way for you to have a brand new life and a way for you to no longer suffer guilt and shame because of your sin. 

There is nothing else that God needs to do.  The ball is in your court.  It is now up to you to accept God’s unconditional love by accepting Jesus, his Son who has already paid the price for your sins. 

Do you LOVE GOD?????   God Loves You!   But DO You LOVE HIM????

He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to himJohn14:21

 1John 4:10 "Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins."

1 John 4:9 "In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him."

1 John4:7 "Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God , and knoweth God."
